A LOT of items on this, the final Council meeting before school's out for summer. Shall we place bets on how (ahem) well everybody plays in the yard...?
They'll have to at least START on their best behaviour, muffins – at least we can all hope – because the Integrity Commissioner will be giving a report on ALL THE HARD WORK she's had to do the last two years, just to keep up with this motley crew of sandbox bullies.
Most of the items are in "Section B" of the General Committee Report – which means they were already approved on consent, so hopefully nobody comes up with something new to argue about.
Andrew Thompson will be appointed to the Committee of Adjustment – ooh, I went to school with an Andrew Thompson, had a horrid crush on him in junior high, could it be the same one?? I SWOON!!!! (Not likely, but a gal can dream, can't she?)

Ah, but... there will also be several chances to talk about Beavers, so... who can fault me? SAVE THE BEAVERS, PEOPLE, SAVE THE BEAVERS!!! (I swoon...)
We'll get to see which heartless turds want to continue the fight against offering bridge financing to Redwood Park Communities as they BUILD HOUSING FOR HUMANS.
And... Oh yes... PRIORITIES – Dances-With-Hydro-Poles apparently failed to read the room last week (OR ALL YEAR), and wants to turf the health unit out of East Bayfield and Holly Community Centres, because playing shinny with his buds is more important to him than PEOPLE GETTING VACCINATED so that we can live our lives again.
