Ooh, people are more than a little pissed at the $5M astroturf plan for the waterfront! (And can you blame them?) Prepare thyselves for bullshittery and mocking of public dissent. BYO Gin.

Taking a wide look at infrastructure planning (ooh, sexy!), plus committee reports.
A new Community Safety and Well-Being Plan Committee, parking, and the city that can't afford to support the impoverished can somehow afford almost FIVE MILLION DOLLARS in astroturf for the sportsing, on what is currently natural waterfront land.
Public Meeting time! One for a development in Ward 10, the other for the new Community Improvement Plan
Road restrictions and bike lanes and speed cameras, oh my. The sexy side of city council (I mean, it's no budget talks, but...)
Well, it's not exactly the Royal Albert Hall, dahrlings, but we make do with what we have, don't we?
Council and Committee meetings are (usually) streamed live on the City's YouTube Channel, so you can watch along with me (either live, or when it's all done and you can fast-forward through the infuriating bits). A list of all upcoming meetings (plus minutes from prior meetings) is kept at the City's Legistar portal. Agendas and direct video links for the coming week should be posted there by Wednesday evening (although punctuality is not always the City's forte, especially when they want a chance to complain about "11th hour" correspondence). I'll do my best to update the calendar in comparatively timely manner.
